Anette von Ahsen is Associate Professor of Sustainability Management at the Technical University of Darmstadt and has been involved in sustainability management, sustainability reporting and the integration of quality, environmental and social management systems in companies for more than thirty years.

She holds lectures and seminars on sustainability, climate and environmental management at the Technical University of Darmstadt. She is the author of numerous publications that have appeared in national and international journals (e.g. Zeitschrift für Umweltpolitik & Umweltrecht, Business Strategy and the Environment, Corporate Reputation Review and Information Systems Journal). She has also published and edited several books. Transfer and co-operation with practitioners are important to her. Among other things, she is an expert in the sustainability working group of Hessenmetall.
