Marcel Oberländer studied law at the Johannes-Gutenberg-University of Mainz and completed his legal clerkship in the Higher Regional Court District of Koblenz after his first state examination. After completing the second state law examination, Mr. Oberländer was employed at the Department of Civil and Corporate Law until the end of May 2016. Today, he is a judge in the judicial service of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
Mr. Oberländer is an external doctoral student at the department and his dissertation deals with the effects of technical progress of learning systems in the field of product and producer liability (product compliance).
