Laura Joggerst studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg from 2010 to 2015, specializing in commercial and corporate law. After her first state examination in law, she worked in the patent department of an internationally active corporation in Freiburg.
Since 2015, Ms. Joggerst has been studying mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt. Until June 2016 she was a research assistant in a Frankfurt patent law firm.
She deals with interfaces between law and engineering and has been leading an exercise in Corporate Law I from 2016 to 2023.
Until 2021, she was involved in the Collaborative Research Centre 805 “ Beherrschung von Unsicherheit in Lasttragenden Systemen des Maschinenbaus” (Control of Uncertainty in Load-Bearing Systems in Mechanical Engineering), where she was in charge of sub-project C8 “Beherrschung von Unsicherheit aus dem Blickwinkel des Produktsicherheits- und Produkthaftungsrechts (Product Compliance)” (Control of Uncertainty from the Perspective of Product Safety and Product Liability Law).
